Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 Mellow

Streetwear and luxury brand based out of Boston, Concepts, teams up with Nike to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Nike Air Max silhouette. Introducing the Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 Olive Canvas.

The upper features various materials and a rich mix of colours. The toebox, eyestay panel and quarter are all in stonewashed blue denim. The titular Olive Canvas wraps around the toe cap, the mudguard and the heel. A dark grey star outline is embroidered on the lateral side of the toe cap. Authentic cowhide in brown and cream embellishes the eyestay panel and part of the quarter. The signature profile Swooshes adorn the quarters. A red, black and mint green striped Swoosh outlined in black is on the medial side while a retro floral print Swoosh with embroidery is on the lateral side. A Mexican blanket print in black and white covers cupsole.The ankle collar shows off a Southwestern tribal pattern with pops of purple. The mesh sockliner and satiny tongue are all in rich burgundy. Co-branding appears on the tongue while Concepts branding in purple stands out on the white insole. A co-branded guitar pick hang tag is attached to the collar eyelet. A white midsole with a speckled bottom half houses an exposed Air unit while a black rubber outsole finishes off the look of the shoe.
