WORKSOUT x Nike Air Max 95 Thunder Blue

South Korean streetwear retailer WORKSOUT reveals another Nike Air Max 95 collaboration following the success of the previous colourways. The Seoul-based label’s limited-edition projects with the Beaverton powerhouse are part of the AM95’s 30th-anniversary milestone, reinterpreting the Sergio Lozano masterpiece with radical elements inspired by the founders’ experiences and style. This WORKSOUT x Nike Air Max 95 “Thunder Blue” showcases a muted colour palette that subdues the silhouette’s revamped structure and progressive details.

This AM95 flaunts a dark blue sheen on the upper, producing a subtle marble effect that deviates from the original model’s layered aesthetic. The reflective lines on the body illuminate in the dark when exposed to light or a camera flash. An oversized textured Swoosh covers the lateral sidewall, complementing the embroidered WORKSOUT branding on the open mesh tongue. Rough overlays reinforce the toe and eyestay, while the moulded rear panel nods to the shop’s interior design. The neutral-toned polyurethane midsole utilises a Big Bubble in the heel to mimic the ‘95 version, while a slimmer Max Air unit rests in the forefoot. The waffle rubber outsole remains true to form, capping off the contemporary makeover. This iteration arrives in a special-edition co-branded package, honouring the growing partnership.
