The first colourway of the Nike’s new Air Max Muse is revealed in this “Black Metallic Silver” colourway. Reflecting on the past with its eye on the present, the Swoosh has paid homage to a number of cult favourites with the Air Max Muse, serving up this hot-off-the-plate “Black Metallic Silver” edition.

Hitting the shelves as women’s exclusive, stylist Veneda Carter and model Iris Law have both been spotted rocking the Muse pre-release. This contrasting palette with silver posite panels and a black woven mesh are easy to match, just think of the Shox TL “Black Red” and Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” as examples.

The aggressive-looking two-pod cushioning system borrows from the world of high fashion yet still provides a typical Air Max aesthetic. A metallic silver embossed mini-Swoosh on the sidewall keeps branding to a minimal, along with the “AM” stamped onto the tongue. A set of black rope laces provide lockdown by using the AM95’s lacing system, another feature which secures the new silhouette model well within the Air Max library.
