It’s that time of year again. As 2024 draws to a close the Nike SNKRS Showcase gives us a peek at what’s in store for 2025. Presented by Brandon “Jinx” Jenkins, this year’s showcase had some incredible highlights which we can’t wait to get our hands on. From the OG 95s to the new Total 90s, take a look at what Nike has in store for us in 2025.
Starting off with a bang, it’s only right we talk about the Air Max 95 OG “Neon”. The silhouette will be celebrating its 30th birthday, and as a treat to us all Nike will be re-releasing the iconic “Neon” colourway in all its original glory. We’re talking the classic big bubble Air Max unit, original colour blocking gradient and high-quality materials. If we could only cop one pair from the showcase, this would be it. Make sure you hit the “Notify Me” button because there’s going to be tough competition for this pair.
Following up with another OG which is sure to turn heads, we have the Nike TN “Hyper Blue”. Once again staying true to the ‘98 original, the “Hyper Blue” is a colourway which has long been adored by fans of the silhouette thanks to its simple yet powerful colouring. Returning for the first time since 2018, so next year is your best chance to add them to your rotation.
While news of this silhouette had already broken, we still had to talk about it. Nike are really placing a focus on womens models in the new year and the Air Max Muse is one of the most exciting releases we’ve seen so far. A brand-new silhouette featuring the thickest sole unit we’ve seen before, the AM Muse is set to roll out in a number of exciting colourways from Spring 2025.
The last Air Max from the showcase we’re going to talk about is the Air Max Craze. It looks like Nike are doubling down on the “retro-futuristic” aesthetic we saw with the Air Max SNDR and the Craze is the next Y2K silhouette set for a re-release. Bringing back waves of nostalgia, this womens exclusive model offers an exaggerated Air unit and futuristic design across the upper.
Speaking of nostalgia, how could we not mention the return of a classic. If you were a kid growing up in the 2000s, you’ll likely have a soft spot in your heart for the Nike Total 90 series. Worn by icons such as Wayne Rooney and Roberto Carlos, it looks like next year you’ll be able to lace up your own pair. Dropping in three distinct colourways, with our favourite being the “Bordeaux”, these boot-trainer hybrids have already achieved cult classic status in our eyes.
Celebrating even more anniversaries, 2025 marks 20 years since the signing of Paul Rodriguez as Nike SBs first professional athlete. In that time, P-Rod has released 10 unique models, a number which only a select few Nike athletes can compete with. To celebrate this legacy, it’s only right that we see the OG “White/Black” P-Rod 1 colourway re-released. The first Nike SB pro model, this is your chance to own a part of sneaker history.
While there’s plenty more heat we could talk about from the 2025 SNKRS Showcase - the ACG Rufus, Air Max 1 “Valentine’s Day”, Air Tech Challenge II - we’re gonna finish out our roundup with a cult classic. If you weren’t familiar, the Nike Air Diamond Turf was the signature line of the NFL’s Deion Sanders. A silhouette which is not often re-released, seeing this sneaker drop in the classic “Atlanta” colourway is sure to make our friends across the pond very happy.
