While it looks like an iconic silhouette, the Air Max Zero only made an appearance earlier last year. It’s a contemporary construct, welded from one piece which delivers snug comfort and tough durability. Actually designed during the early 90s, this shoe almost made the cut as the Air Max 1. Due to the costly manufacturing processes of creating such a light, snug upper, the shoe was put on hold until last year.
Going into full production, the Air Max Zero quickly became a fan favourite. Given the comfort of the neoprene and mesh upper, it comes as no surprise. Other impressive design elements include that robust lacing system and synthetic overlays for added support.
Contrasting against the black upper, a sail or white coloured midsole features and includes that visible Air Unit for cushioning and retro appeal.
The Nike Air Max Zero Black Sail is scheduled to release on Thursday 17th November via the retailers listed.
