Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Martine Rose x Nike Air Monarch IV Pink! Resembling a piece of bubble gum, this shoe is as crazy as it looks, and we’re absolutely loving it!
Made in collaboration with British designer Martine Rose, the Martine Rose x Nike Air Monarch IV Medium Soft Pink Black may not be for everyone, but it’s unique to say the least. Fashioned from shiny patent leather, this shoe is artfully disfigured – a concept that was inspired by by putting size 18 tooling on top of a size 9 midsole.
Bulbous elements appear on the toebox, midfoot, and heel for a look wild and whimsical look. In terms of logos, they are kept to a minimum here to keep your focus on the odd design, but upon closer inspection, a Swoosh logo and Rose’s signature can be seen gracing the lateral and medial sides. The insoles feature further co-branding, and each shoe is rounded off by a standard, unchanged Monarch midsole
If you are a chunky sneaker veteran and want to get something a little more crazy, then the Martine Rose x Nike Air Monarch IV Pink is perfect for you! Unlike any other model currently on the market, this sneaker will surely get you noticed. We recommend you go true to size for the perfect fit!
