AMBUSH x Nike Air More Uptempo Low White Red

Tokyo-based fashion label AMBUSH continues to spread its prominence towards Western culture, turning the cult classic brand into a globally renowned imprint. As for co-founder Yoon Ahn, it was just a matter of time until the sneaker culture fully embraced AMBUSH’s unique, bold approach. The collaborative venture between AMBUSH and Nike resumes with a trimmed-down reinterpretation of the Air More Uptempo Low, a classic basketball shoe from ‘96 known for its oversized “AIR” branding. This “White Red” rendition boasts its titular hues resembling the Chicago Bulls jerseys, constructed in a low-cut base with opaque Air Max bubbles.

Like past collaborative takes on the Dunk High, Air Force 1 Low, and Air Adjust Force, the AMBUSH x Nike Air More Uptempo has a handful of colourways in the pack. The shoe has an all-white leather base, with black Swooshes on the toe and heel. Meanwhile, red envelops the signature “AIR” branding on the sides. AMBUSH labels adorn the heel midsole, with the full-length Air unit blending with the pristine white makeover. The segmented rubber outsole completes this ‘90s chunky basketball icon.
