Nike Air More Uptempo Slide Gradient Blue Black

Having already debuted the Air More Uptempo Slide in 2022 in the signature black and white colourway, the Swoosh looks to the stars for inspiration on this pair. We probably would have laughed had you asked us a few years back whether we thought the Nike Uptempo would be getting a Slide version, but now that it’s here, we can’t imagine life without it.

All the signature traits of Scottie Pippin’s 1996 Basketball shoe have been transformed into the convenience of a slide, including the “AIR” block lettering which now sits on the strap. Underlying the iconic lettering is the galaxy print or gradient blue, which gives the branding on the strap all the necessary flair. Nike has also included the Uptempo’s foot-long Air unit and tread which are key in helping create the shoe’s distinct look. The slide edition features a textured footbed and dual perforation lines, making sure these function well while on feet.
