Here’s everything you need to know about the Nike Air Span 2 Laser Blue. This blast from the past arrives alongside several other colourways in early January. Be sure to leave us a comment below and let us know your thoughts on this release.

The Air Span first released in the early 80s but it didn’t gain much credibility until the 2.0 model was unveiled in 1990. It quickly became a favourite amongst runners but also transitioned as a lifestyle release.

Today, this revival should be met with plenty of hype given the appeal of old-school footwear. Whilst these won’t be used for running anymore, the vintage aesthetic promises timeless versatility.

The ‘Laser Blue’ Air Span 2 remains subdued and understated thanks to that base shade of white. A mix of leather and nlyon features and ensures that supportive, lock down fit. Nike retains all the classic detailing from the ‘AIR’ insignia across the heel to the low-profile midsole underfoot. It’s the vibrant blue Swoosh along the sidewall which really brings this trainer to life.

The Nike Air Span 2 Laser Blue is scheduled to release on 16th February via the retailers listed. Keep it here for more updates and stockist alerts!
