Description
There aren’t many shoes quite like the brand new Nike Air Tailwind 79 Grey Navy! An ultra clean take on a classic silhouette, you had best believe that this is one of 2019’s best revivals, and it definitely deserves a spot in your daily rotation!
First unleashed back in 1979, the Air Tailwind 79 was first marketed as a Hawaii exclusive, making its debut at the legendary 1978 Honolulu Marathon. Forty years later, the Swoosh has delved deep into their running trainer archives, bringing back the Air Tailwind 79 Grey Navy it all its glory. Featuring an ultra premium upper that’s made up of a series of buttery smooth suede panels, it’s painted in light grey hues, with complimentary navy shades gracing the sockliner, heel badge, and of course, the lateral and medial side Swoosh branding.
Down below, you’ll find a sleek and streamlined Air midsole, reminding sneakerheads that the AT79 was actually the first shoe to ever receive this game changing tech. This is lined with a durable gum rubber outsole for the perfect balance between comfort and traction, making these some of the best running shoes that money can buy.
Priced at a budget friendly £80, the Nike Air Tailwind 79 Grey Navy is a no brainer. A shoe that’s packed with history and heritage, you need a pair right now!
