“Johnny’s Icy Passage,” “The Illusional ‘Ja” and “Thirsty Bandit” are the three colourways which make up this collection. It’s the ‘Black Volt’ design which is aptly named “The Illusional ‘Ja”.
A speckled print covers the entire shoe in a bold shade of volt green. This splattering of colour even extends across the Vapormax Unit underfoot. It becomes even more eye-catching when the lights are turned down low as this comes to life in a reflective hue.
ACRONYM are well known for their use of tech-wear inspired overlays with most previous collaborations featuring a zip construct. Unlike those, this upcoming pack keeps it fairly simple but a synthetic overlay does grab attention to the sidewall heel. Without any laces, all the emphasis resides with that funky printed upper.
