The NikeLAB Air Zoom Chalapuka Vachetta Tan is a classic sneak reinvented for this exclusive release. Hot of the heels of another Quick Strike launch from NikeLAB, this is expected to be a sellout. That’s not surprising given the popularity of the Nike Zoom Spiridon which launched several weeks ago. Also harnessing a retro look, it was yet another re-release of a much loved design.
Unlike the Spiridon, the Air Zoom Chalapuka is a little known sneak that only launched in limited sizes back in 2001. Although it was archived until now, the good folks at Nike have finally chosen to blow off the cobwebs.
Arriving in a four part release, this colourway showcases a premium blend of Vachetta Tan and white. One of the most distinctive features of this model is the large windows to the sidewall. Offering maximum breathability, this could be the perfect summer sneak. It’s complimented with white mesh to the tongue and ankle support. To complete the look, a mini Swoosh is stamped to the rear and the shoe sits on a chunky, white midsole.
Thankfully, you won’t have to wait long for the NikeLAB Air Zoom Chalapuka Vachetta Tan. This shoe, along with the three others, is scheduled to launch on Thursday 28th July via the retailers on the right hand side.
