Description
As the name would suggest, the Nike Air Max Modern Flyknit Black White puts all emphasis on contemporary detailing. That said, as with many great innovations, style cues pay homage to classic heritage. Given the use of iconic Air Max detailing, that would clearly be the case with this release.
This is a shoe which borrows elements from both the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90. That includes the addition of a visible Air Max unit in the heel which sits in a cored-out white midsole. It’s both comfortable and responsive, adapting underfoot to all terrains. While many will use this as a lifestyle sneak, it’s more than equipped for running.
It’s the Flyknit upper which sets this apart as a contemporary release. Both soft and lightweight, it gives that suberb fit and comfort. On this design, it remains refined and stylish with all emphasis on that black and white fused effect.
To compliment, a soft heel panel sits at the rear – a subtle nod to the AM 90 – while a leather protective heel is stamped to the heel. This is similar to that found against the Air Max Thea. Finally, a white Swoosh contrasts against the sidewall.
The Nike Air Max Modern Flyknit Black White is scheduled to release on Monday 23rd January via the retailers listed.
