The Nike Mercurial Vapor 1 returns in another OG colourway following its long-awaited comeback, now equipped with modern technology. Originally launched in 2002, this Nike Mercurial Vapor 1 “Dark Cinder Maize” is back in the catalogue after over 20 years, presenting a classic design upgraded with the brand’s next-gen properties under the RGN (Regeneration) label. With the previous colourway only dropping 4,500 pairs, we can also expect this colourway to have a limited run.
Weighing under 200 grams, these football boots feature a stealthy black FlyTouch Plus upper that perfectly moulds to your foot for a glove-like fit. Clean white Swooshes decorate the sidewalls to contrast the dark backdrop, whilst wavy patterns flowing from front to back add texture to the lightweight, minimalist aesthetic. Vibrant yellow accents engulf the heel counter, inner lining, and sockliner for a pop of colour. Borrowed from the Vapor 16 Elite, the cutting-edge sole plate utilises Zoom Air technology underfoot for a springy, comfortable feel that lasts an entire game. Cascading waves on the outsole boast thick, aggressive studs for consistent traction on the pitch. Aside from a special-edition dust bag, this pair includes an old-school orange box for a throwback look.
Set to release in limited quantities on the 3rd of March 2025 for £255 via the Nike SNKRS app as well as ProDirect Sport. You can find out where to buy the Nike Mercurial Vapor 1 “Dark Cinder Maize” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
