Drake’s NOCTA collaboration with Nike introduces the sub-label’s most vibrant colourway yet. The NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra only arrived with a few colourways. It seems Drake has more styles in the lineup ahead of the Nike NOCTA Glide’s long-awaited debut. This Nike NOCTA Glide “Green” showcases a vibrant green makeover with additional design elements never seen on previous colourways.
While most people know Drake as the famous award-winning rapper with multiple hit songs and albums, his nocturnal creative process sub-label with Nike gives him a whole new persona. This sub-brand’s design ethos revolves around people who travel on the road all day, outfitting them with technical outdoor apparel and footwear. The Nike NOCTA Glide is the second sneaker in the NOCTA sub-label, borrowing design elements from the ‘90s Zoom Air Flight 95 basketball shoe. This colourway boasts a green mesh base with woven reinforcements for additional durability. The wavy midsole contains four bug-eyed pods on each side, three flaunting carbon fibre textures, while the biggest one comes in a metallic silver accent displaying a debossed NOCTA label. The black Swooshes on the sides and the Nike-branded eyestay round out this head-turning sneaker.
