Following the Jordan MVP which combines the Air Jordans 6, 7, and 8, Jordan Brand has another hybrid model recently added to the lineup. Turn heads with this new Jordan Stadium 90 “Dark Brown”.
Air Jordan hybrid models are nothing new for the brand. As a matter of fact, Michael Jordan rocked the Air Jordan 1.5 after his injury during the 1985-1986 NBA season. This was the first recorded Air Jordan hybrid silhouette in history, combining the AJ1 upper with the AJ2 sole. Through the years, we’ve also seen hybrid Jordans like the Jordan 6 Rings, Spiz’ike , Son of Mars, and Legacy 312 among many others. The new Jordan Stadium 90 mixes design elements from the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 5 for a fresh lifestyle design. Notable J1 details include the perforated toe, Swoosh on the sides, and the nylon tongue. Air Jordan 5’s shark teeth design comprises the forefoot mudguard, while the netting on the sides and plush collar also add to the 1990’s classic aesthetics. Jordan Brand also incorporated the new Formula 23 foam with Nike Air technology for maximum all-day comfort.
This colourway features a brown nubuck material on the toe with fuzzy suede overlays on the forefoot. Black accents on the leather Swoosh and lateral midfoot eyestay bring more diverse materials on the upper. The netting on the sides uses knit fabrics to reduce the weight of the shoe. Red tones adorn the medial Jumpman tag and Nike Air on the heel panel. Sail white comprises the midsole, while the black rubber outsole completes the neutral-toned sneaker.
