The Nike LeBron 8 Lakers is the latest colorway of Lebron James' signature sneakers that has been a fan-favourite by basketball players throughout its years and up until now. The upcoming Nike basketball shoe that made its debut all the way back in 2010 is now returning in a colour scheme that pays homage to NBA's Los Angeles Laker basketball team.

During the 2010-2011 NBA season, the LeBron 8s was introduced to the basketball court to commemorate two NBA championship titles secured by Miami Heat. Ten years later, official images of the silhouette flaunt a colourway that nods to James' current basketball team, the LA Lakers.

Showcasing a vivid purple upper highlighted with gold accents across the panels, white laces then tie the forefront for a dunk of contrast. To maintain the Nike aesthetic we all know and love, big Swoosh logos shoot across the sidewalls and a mini-sized one makes an appearance on the medial toes. Beneath the feet, a 360 degree Air Max unit lined with a rubber outsole house the uppers to ensure that these not only provide comfort over extended periods of wear but also extreme traction that is essential to every stride, pivot, and turn on the basketball court.
