Nike Sabrina 1 University Gold

Nike bestows TB (Team Bank) colourways of New York Liberty superstar guard Sabrina Ionescu’s debut signature shoe. The latest addition to the Oregon-based brand’s star-studded signature lineup continues to fascinate basketball fans following the Liberty’s Commissioner’s Cup championship in the WNBA. This Nike Sabrina 1 “University Gold” highlights bright gold tones throughout the low-cut basketball shoe packed with storytelling details.

Engineered for quick, shifty players like Sabrina Ionescu, the Nike Sabrina 1 boasts a low-top construction and a highly-cushioned midsole. The shoe has a gold mesh base reinforced with white embroidered patterns on the forefoot and eyestay as a nod to Ionescu’s Romanian ancestry. Outline Swooshes on the sides come embroidered in white, overlapping the thin mesh layer underneath. Sabrina’s “S” logo adorns the tongue and sockliner, while her “I” initial wraps the shoe from the heel to the outsole. The thick, full-length React foam midsole has a raised sidewall on the forefoot for stability. Inside the midsole is a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot for maximum cushioning and impact protection when playing basketball. The multidirectional traction pattern completes this Kobe-esque basketball sneaker.
