Continuing the silhouette’s 25th-anniversary celebration in 2023, this “Black Anthracite Sail” opts for a luxe update that deviates from the accustomed design aspects of the futuristic sneaker.

Unlike its signature sunset-inspired gradient uppers, the Sean McDowell sneaker masterpiece from ‘98 never faded into the horizon as it maintained its prominence for over 20 years. Commemorating its silver anniversary, the Nike TN Air Max Plus further cemented its spot among the most iconic Air Max models in history. This women’s variant flaunts a blacked-out glossy satin-like base, accentuated with sleek, wavy stitching that replaces the iconic TPU overlays inspired by palm trees. Subtly embroidered Swooshes adorn the sides, while an embossed insignia sits on the lateral plastic toe cap. Nubuck materials form the mudguard, heel, and tongue. Signature yellow TN logos on the spine add a pop of colour atop the all-black makeover. The Tuned Air units in the midsole arrive in a matte black texture, giving them an opaque finish to shroud the windows’ interior. Gradient black and white hues engulf the whale’s tail shank plate. The classic decoupled rubber outsole caps off the stealthy design of this revamped TN Air Max Plus colourway.
