To celebrate fifty years since the legendary Apollo 11 moon landing that changed the course of history back in 1969, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration has teamed up with PUMA for the brand new NASA x PUMA Cell Alien Space Explorer Pack, and it’s quite literally out of this world! Part of the two sneaker ‘Space Explorer’ Pack, you need to see these in person to be able to fully appreciate them!
Working on the classic Cell Alien silhouette that launched back in 1998, the NASA x PUMA Cell Alien Space Explorer Pack features an all black makeup that’s inspired by the vacuum of space. Shimmering holographic details grace the lacing system, heel, and Formstrip for a galaxy-like aesthetic, and down below, you’ll find a blacked out foam midsole that’s been peppered with white specks to represent the stars in the cosmos. This unit has also been fitted with hexagonal cells underneath, providing sneakerheads with extra comfort and protection with every step. To round it all off, NASA branding hits the leather toe cap in white, while PUMA branding graces the heel, complete with the iconic “CELL” logo that has been round since the ’90s.
Whether you’re a space enthusiast or a sneakerhead who just likes chunky shoes, the NASA x PUMA Cell Alien Space Explorer Pack is made for absolutely everyone! Dropping alongside the NASA x PUMA RS-9.8 Space Explorer Pack, make sure you add these to your collection when they blast off on July 20th!
