Description
The Rhude x PUMA collaboration is hands down one of the best partnerships of Summer 2019, and the power duo are taking things up a notch with the Rhude x PUMA Palace Guard White! A basketball shoe that was famously worn and introduced by NBA Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas during the 1980s, Rhuigi Villaseñor’s take on the legendary silhouette is everything we’ve asked for and so much more.
Giving the classic shoe a contemporary makeover, the Rhude x PUMA Palace Guard White is dressed all over with ultra luxe materials, and is painted in a colour scheme that’s as clean as it gets. Working on a premium smoother white leather, suede beige panels feature throughout for a pop of contrast, both in an aesthetic and a textural sense.
Down below, you’ll be greeted with a light brown rubber midsole that’s a lot chunkier than the OG version, and to round it all off, the German giant’s iconic Formstrip motif is punctuates across the lateral and medial side walls, giving the shoe a deconstructed look that’s all the rage these days.
We’re in love with the Rhude x PUMA Palace Guard White and you should be too! Available now for a budget friendly £105, you need a pair in your collection right now!
