Rei Kawakubo’s CDG empire teams up with French outdoor sports equipment brand Salomon for a special take on the Pulsar Advanced model. Step up (literally) with the COMME des GARÇONS x Salomon Pulsar Advanced “Black”.
COMME des GARÇONS decides to hit the runway instead of the trail in this revamped Salomon Pulsar Advanced . Similar to the previous CDG x Salomon Pulsar instalment, this all-black pair brings back the extremely chunky sole. This silhouette uses the Salomon Pulsar Advanced’s slip-on upper with toned-down overlays. The textile mudguard protects the toe while the external heel counter dons Salomon branding. A large chunky sole unit completes the platform sneaker. The entire colourway comes in stealthy black but the bulky look of the shoe still stands out.
