In recent years, Rei Kawakubo's Japanese fashion label COMME des GARÇONS has offered a number of footwear offerings. Alongside its ongoing relationship with the Swoosh team, CdG recently added French sports company Salomon to its parnership list. Arriving with a "Triple White" counterpart, the Comme des Garcons x Salomon Pulsar Platform Black features an all-black outfit packed with trail-ready technology.

At a closer look, CdG uses Salomon's Pulsar trail-running shoes as the canvas of the collaboration, maintaining the model's anti-debris mesh tooling, Quicklace technology synonymous with S/LAB models, and a comfortable EVA sockliner. However, the head-turning feature of this is the oversized midsole unit underfoot, giving the trail model a completely new identity. In true CdG fashion, this pair is absent from any bold branding details for a simplistic look.
