MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-Mary J Black

Merging designer fashion and Gorpcore, MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon introduce the XT-MARY J, a contemporary revamp of the beloved XT-4. This collaboration is part of the French luxury label’s diffusion line’s Autumn-Winter 2024 collection, further expanding its range towards the great outdoors through hybrid designs. Joining the “Multi” edition, the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon Mary Janes “Black” adopts a stealthy get-up to preserve the XT-4’s trail running heritage.

This XT-MARY J colourway features an all-black anti-debris mesh upper with textured TPU film overlays mimicking carbon fibre. The midfoot Velcro strap replaces the typical Quicklace system and padded tongue to achieve the Mary Jane vibe. Trademark labels animate the toe, strap, and lateral rear, whilst orange co-branded logos adorn the moulded Ortholite sockliners. The midsole incorporates a full-length Agile Chassis Skeleton around the dual-density EVA foam to deliver a stable, well-cushioned ride. A durable Contagrip outsole rests underneath for excellent traction on city streets and rugged trails.
