The Adidas Yeezy Quantum Barium is one of Kanye West's most important releases in history since its first appearance at All Star Weekend. For the first time ever, he'll be going head to head with Michael Jordan's Jumpman basketball sneaker brand, rivalling the likes of the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Jordan 4 on the basketball court. First unveiled last year, this exciting release is a definite must cop, so here's everything that you need to know!
Dipped in a "Triple Black" makeup that is as stealthy as it gets, the Barium takes a ton of design cues from the 700 V3, including the U-shaped lacing system and neoprene tongue. Along the lateral and medial side panels, several transparent stripes with reflective detailing shoot across, while a textured suede overlays feature for an even more intriguing look and feel.
Moving towards the back, a 3M infused heel counter is present so you can flex even in low light conditions, and this provides the perfect amount of support and stability while on the street and on the court. You'll also get a full length adidas Boost midsole that's housed within a blacked out plastic cage unit that's sleek and smooth to the touch, just like the Boost 380.
At this moment in time, not a lot can be said about the Yeezy Quantum Barium as it still has to be officially confirmed by the Three Stripes, but according to rumours by the Yeezy Mafia, it'll hit shelves during the second half of the year, so keep it locked for the release date announcement!
RELEASE UPDATE - The Yeezy Quantum Barium is confirmed to launch tomorrow on Thursday June 25th 2020. The breaking new silhouette would release in full family sizing at select retailers at a retail price of £220.
