A Brand New Ronnie Fieg x ASICS GEL-LYTE III is on the Way

Towards the tail-end of last week, everyone’s favourite footwear designer Ronnie Fieg took to Instagram to unveil that he’s set to launch a brand new ASICS collaboration. If you’re a real sneakerhead, you’ll already know how big a deal the Ronnie Fieg x ASICS GEL-LYTE III’s are.

Although Ronnie has collaborated on plenty of different silhouettes from various different brands through his career, it’s safe to say that the GEL-LYTE III will always be the model that springs to mind when he’s mentioned.

The KITH frontman’s Instagram post was captioned simply “252.1” which points back to the 252 pack which launched 13 years ago as a New York City exclusive. Further images of the collaboration have now been unveiled, and it’s now clear that three different colourways will be launched.

Two white variants offer a clean summer-ready look, with the first taking on pale-pink accents and the second decorated with metallic gold touches. Finally, the third pair is decked out in black suede and appears to showcase salmon-pink toe boxes, similar to the highly-coveted 2011 “Salmon Toe” release.
