A Closer Look at the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Pollen"

With the brighter months looming closer and closer, it's about time that Jordan Brand introduced some complementary colourways - and that's where the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Pollen" comes right in! First leaked at the start of the year, it's been given a few tweaks here and there that AJ1 fans will definitely be able to appreciate.

Bearing a striking resemblance to the "Wu-Tang Clan" Dunk High that was introduced back in 1999, the "Pollen" boasts a premium leather construction and works on a stealthy black base. Vibrant yellow panels arrive at the ankle, heel, and toebox for a pop of contrast, while a Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels for that classic aesthetic.

The legendary winged basketball is finely debossed around the collar, and down below, a crisp white Air midsole is present for comfort and cushioning that knows no bounds. One of the main differences between this and the leaks is the branding on the tongue. While the mock-ups had a square patch that was similar to the one found on the "Bio Hack", the retail pair opts for a more traditional look that Air Jordan 1 fans will definitely prefer.
