A Closer Look at the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Midnight Navy"

Back in April, we announced that the legendary Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Midnight Navy" was making a comeback. Originally released exclusively in Japan back in 2001, sneakerheads outside of the Land Of The Rising Sun have been waiting for these for almost two decades, and now, the wait is almost over.

Working on a white tumbled leather base, the "Midnight Navy" is overlaid with dark blue suede panels that are soft and smooth to the touch. A metallic silver Nike Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial side panels just like the OG, while the signature winged basketball motif is finely debossed onto the ankle for that classic look.

While it's still not clear whether or not this Air Jordan 1 will receive the original "Co.JP" insole, rumour has it that this is a one-to-one remake so it most likely will. Rounding it all off is a pristine Air midsole, finalising the truly iconic design.
