Nike have just unveiled the Nike Sertu 'The 10th', a brand new sneaker from the Swoosh brand, taking heavy inspiration from the React Element silhouettes with a new twist. Take a closer look at the sneaker through this exclusive imagery from female sneaker shop, pam pam London who are based in Bethnal Green.
Paying homage to Nike's Co-Founder, Bill Bowerman, a rocky terrain and mountainous aesthetic has been reflected in the design of the silhouette. A nod towards his younger years when leading the 10th Mountain Division in the US military.
This 10th Mountain Division specialised in fighting in mountainous terrain across the world and was the first of its kind to take part in training of this kind in such intense conditions. After bing discharged from the military, he went on to coach high schools and finally Olympic teams.
This heavy involvement in the worldwide sporting industry of this standard then led him to meet Phil Knight, Founder of Nike almost 20 years later.
This neutral coloured Sertu 'The 10th' shows differing textures throughout all in co-ordinating and flowing styling, with pebbled textures to reflect the terrain found on mountains, as well as perforations for your breathability. React technology within the midsole will give you that comfort that has been so well loved in all of the React silhouettes before!
The Nike React Sertu 'The 10th' is available right now to buy at retailers such as Nike and pam pam London.
