A Closer Look at the J Balvin x Air Jordan 2 "Blue"

Known in the sneaker world for his vibrantly-coloured AJ1 collaboration, J Balvin is now preparing to launch his latest collaboration with Jordan Brand to the world. The J Balvin x Air Jordan 2 “Blue” offers up a more muted look than its predecessor, although the Colombian star’s signature details still shine through for a touch of personality across the design.

The sneakers are crafted from a mix of suede and athletic mesh across the uppers while the colourway consists of light blue and white, with red stitching adding an extra layer of depth. Jordan Brand’s wings logo takes pride of place on the tongues, while Nike typeface motifs and J Balvin’s signature smiley branding is located on the heels.

White laces keep these securely on feet along with plenty of padding around the ankles to improve comfort at all times. Finishing off the look, the kicks are placed on top of a white midsole that conceals full-length Air cushioning to make these a winner on and off the basketball court.
