After taking a brief glimpse last month, we're now getting a closer look at the Yeezy 700 V3 "Clay Brown". Formerly known as the "Eremiel", it was later renamed due to controversy from various religious groups, and to be honest, we think the new name is a lot more fitting. Bearing a striking resemblance to the "Alvah" that launched earlier this year, here's everything that we know so far.
Featuring a super stealthy palette, the "Clay Brown" boasts a breathable adidas Primeknit base that's decked out with tan striping along the lateral and medial side panels. This is then overlaid with a matte black RPU cage, providing support and stability that's off the charts. Just like all the other colourway, this glows with a ghoulish green hue as soon as the lights are turned down - a feature that's a massive selling point for many sneakerheads.
A U-shaped panel hits the toebox as a nod to the two previous Yeezy 700 generations, and down below, you'll find a dark brown EVA foam midsole that's insanely comfortable. This is lined with a slither of gum rubber to tie everything together, and rounding it all off is Kanye West's brand new Yeezy lacing system that allows for infinite adjustability.
Expected to launch on December 21st just a few days before the Yeezy QNTM "Frozen Blue", the adidas Yeezy 700 V3 "Clay Brown" is a definite must cop! Let us know if you'll be adding these to your winter rotation, and while you're here, you might as well get up close with the Yeezy 700 V3 "Safflower"!
