After all the hype, drama and promotion , Supreme's new West Hollywood store is finally open to the general public! The store will now serve the community with all its skateboarding and streetwear needs whilst offering itself as a new distinctive location within the district.
Rumours first surfaced surrounding this move about one year ago, prompting excitement from fans of the brand and apprehension from local residents in the area. Despite the controversy, Supreme's building work went ahead, and now 12 months on, the store is ready for use. The exterior of this space is decorated in white rendered paint, complete with a repeating version of Supreme's classic red Box Logo.
The white walls of the exterior extend into the inside as art installations by the likes of Mark Gonzalez, Nate Lowman, Josh Smith, Fuck This Life and Neckface decorate blank spaces. The true wow factor of the space comes courtesy of a large free-floating scale bowl designed by Steven Badgett’s Simparch. The store is now fully open and operational for anyone to visit.
