Everyone has at least had a pair of Converse while growing up, without a shadow of a doubt, your parents and grandparents did too. They're a classic sneaker that's effortless to style with any outfit. But when was the last time a pair of Chucks were in your sneaker collection? Well, you're just in the nick of time for the upcoming Carhartt WIP x Converse Chuck 70 High collaboration!
Working in partnership with Carhartt WIP (Carhartt's sub-brand heavily focused on streetwear style-orientated pieces), the co-branded high-top sneakers will be launching in two stunning colourways including "Hamilton Brown" which boasts a cider brown hue, and "Covert Green" that flaunts a green camouflage finish. Both pairs take on the form of the Chuck 70 silhouette, a modern version of the OG Chuck Taylor All Star from the 1970s that everyone knows and love.
Subtle yet very trendy, the duo boasts a thick heavy canvas upper adorned with Carhartt's iconic patch logo on the tongue and Converse's instantly-recognisable All Star emblem on the medial side. Of course, you can't talk about the Chuck 70s without mentioning the sail-hued thick rubber midsole beneath the feet that offers an insane amount of comfort and cushioning.
Arriving in the sneaker world this Saturday 30th of January at 9am over at Converse UK, let us know if you're going to be grabbing a pair or maybe both to complete the set! In related news, check out these 15 crazy Converse collabs that deserve a spot in your rotation!
