A Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez Launches Globally This Month In Laceless Construct

The last Nike Cortez to release from Kendrick Lamar was a myth for UK sneakerheads - it never even made it across the pond. Thankfully, that doesn't appear to be the case for his next collaboration. Once again, the LA born rapper reinvents the classic Nike Cortez but this time around, a global release is happening.

The news surfaced via Insta leak account @py_rates with a mock-up depicting this silhouette as well as a confirmed release date. Interestingly, this Cortez will be completely laceless, a new model known as the 'Basic Slip'. A toggle pull system is thought to feature.

Given the hype for the other three Cortez's from Kendrick Lamar, this pair is expected to be hugely sought after. And despite these only just leaking, they are rumoured to launch on 22nd September.
