A Ma Maniére’s Jordan collaborations never fail to disappoint, but when it comes to crafting a narrative around each release, the retailer will always go the extra mile. For its latest Air Jordan 12 release, the store is once again celebrating the significance of the women in the scene, paying homage directly to Black women through its accompanying “She’s the Blueprint” campaign.

The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 12 will release in two colourways. A black and burgundy version, and a white and burgundy pair take cues from previous AMM iterations, which have traditionally been outfitted in premium materials, quilted liners and luxe branded detailing. Here, the black pair has been outfitted in suede, while the white version comes dressed in leather. Much like the AJ1 and AJ2 releases, the AJ12 sees shades of “Burgundy Crush” add a rich finish to each colourway. The pairs will drop alongside a small capsule clothing collection, which includes a down-filled puffer coat, a tracksuit, nylon shirt and pant set and hoodies and tees.
Following the same format as its previous releases, AMM dropped a short film that spotlighted the inspiration behind the latest collaboration. Here, James Whitner and his team express their appreciation and gratitude for the Black women in the scene, who are constantly working to push the culture forward. And, to further celebrate the theme US-side, ladies will be given early access to the raffle. Here, however, you’ll have to wait to try your luck on SNKRS, so be sure to hit those release reminders for info on the upcoming launch.
Up next, Pharrell Williams is set to succeed Virgil Abloh at Louis Vuitton.
