We're officially into February, so surely that means it's time to start getting excited about Valentine's releases. Nike agrees, meaning that we've been given a sneak peek at a number of silhouettes that will be joining the Valentine's Day pack. Whilst previous years have focused on the likes of the Air Force 1 and Dunk, this time around it appears the Swoosh Brand is mixing things up. Both styles are still on the cards, but we're also being treated to an Air Max 90 Futura, Air Trainer 1, as well as an Air More Uptempo. Let's take a look at the upcoming Valentine's sneakers from Nike below.
First of all, the Air Trainer 1 is dressed in the same colour palette as the Uptempo and Dunks. Valentine's hues of red, cream and pink dress the upper, with the Air Trainer's signature strap coming in a dark maroon. The Nike Swoosh adds a pop of colour on the sidewalls, matching to the branding across the rest of the body.
In a similar fashion, the Air More Uptempo comes in dark burgundy tones, with pink accents appearing across the bubble midsole and oversized Air branding. Though less pink than previous year's Valentine's Day releases, these are still on-brand for the occasion.
We also have a look at the Dunk Low and Dunk Disrupt models set to land this year. These Dunks come in a brighter colour palette than the aformentioned two kicks, with cream panelling decorating the upper atop a dark red-wine base.
The Air Max 90 Futura is a newly-leaked addition to the line-up, and appears to follow a similar colour scheme. Starting with a white and cream-coloured base, pops of pink and red velvet add a splash of colour to the Futura's layered construction, and cherry detailing provides another cute thematic touch.
Of course, Valentine's Day just wouldn't be the same without an appropriately-themed AF1, so you'll be pleased to know there are at least two on the way for 2023. One pair follows suit from the Futura with cute cherry-themed touches, while the other takes on an even bolder look. Sitting separately from the above pack, Bruce Kilgore's iconic basketball silhouette has been revealed to be arriving in GS sizes, and features patent red overlays and a textured pink Swoosh, as well as 'I heart AF1' detailing on the tongue tabs.
