Like many pioneering technologies, adidas's Futurecraft 4D isn't available the masses - at least not during this initial phase. At the moment, many of the shoes to showcase the next era of running tech are frustratingly difficult to cop and painfully expensive across re-sell platforms. Take for example, the adidas alphaEdge 4D which launched earlier this year in a black colourway with a signature 'Aero Green' midsole. That silhouette arrived in limited quantities which only added to the hype for these 4D releases.
Thankfully, the process known as 'Digital Light Synthesis', which creates that lattice structure midsole, is soon to be rolled out across the first general-releases. That's rumoured to happen in early 2019 but for now there's even more ultra-limited styles to look forward.
The next on the horizon is the adidas alpaEdge 4D 'White'. These already launched via adidas Canada which suggests a global release will soon follow. Just like the LTD colourway, this pair features that same green coloured midsole. The Primeknit upper is all together more laid-back, only contrasted by the light grey stripes to the sidewall.
The adidas alphaEdge 4D 'White' (CG5526) is soon to arrive at retailers. Stay glued to our 'Release Dates' channel for a confirmed launch date as well as a full list of stockists.
