Article updated 17/1/24:After first being previewed in October last year, we finally have an official look at Action Bronson's blue rendition of the 1906R. Bearing the "Medua Azül" moniker, this latest pair might just be one of the best collaborative colourways yet.
With the "Scorpious" and "Rosewater" models also scheduled for release, there's some probability that these pairs will either arrive at the same time or in very quick succession. At this time, no official release date has been set, so be sure to keep it locked in right here for the latest as it unfolds. Keep reading for the original article below.
Article Updated 16/10/23: While not the most momentous update, Action Bronson has shared a close up image of his upcoming New Balance 1906R collaboration. While no further details have been provided at this time, we're hoping that a release date will follow soon as the anticipation brews.
Original Article: Forget all the New Balance silhouettes Taylor Swift has been sighted in, Action Bronson has just seemingly teased yet another collaboration with the Boston brand! After the success of his "Multi" and "Lapis Lazuli" 990v6 releases, the rapper has just teased what seems to be a fresh collaboration with New Balance, this time picking the 1906R as a base.
Shared in a fit pic via Action's Instagram, this latest offering looks to continue with the vivid aesthetic presented with the two previous pairs. Atop what looks to be the classic 1906R silhouette, a vibrant blue outsole makes way for purple mesh and synthetic uppers. The tongue looks to arrive in either a silvery grey hue, with what looks to be "Baklava" stamped at the peak.
Silver details can also be seen on the underlays, delivering an early '00s aesthetic. Given the fact Action didn't allude to the new pair in the post, it might be early days in production for this silhouette, so make sure you keep it locked in right here for all the latest as it unfolds. In other footwear news, Miu Miu's next New Balance sneaker isn't quite a 530.
