adidas And Reebok Are Teaming Up For The Instapump Fury Boost

In news that we'd never thought we'd report on, adidas and Reebok are teaming up for the ultimate high heat hybrid - the Instapump Fury Boost. Building on the English footwear brand's flagship shoe, it has remained more or less the same since its debut in 1994, so this would mark its biggest update yet over its two and a half decade long history.

An extremely unique sneaker, the retro style has been a fan favourite since forever, with a completely adjustable Pump lacing system and a split sole unit for heightened response that has now been infinitely upgraded thanks to the Three Stripes' award winning Boost technology.

“Instapump Fury Boost is exactly something we would have tried back in 1994 if we had the technology,” explained Steven Smith, designer of the Instapump Fury. “We were always experimenting to find the best cushioning system possible. It is great to build a hybrid of the best of both brands' technologies.”

While adidas do in fact own Reebok, it's great to see two companies putting their heads together to work on a shoe that thinks outside the box. The first adidas x Reebok Instapump Fury Boost will drop exclusively at atmosCon Japan on October 5th, limited to just fifty pairs.
