Following the release of last year's 26-piece A-ZX collection which reworked the ZX 8000, the ZX 9000, and much more, the German giant is now setting its sights on another legendary line of sneakers, more specifically, the adidas EQT. First released all the way back in 1991, 2021 marks the Equipment's 30th anniversary, so naturally, the Three Stripes are going big.
Introduced to the world by Robert Strasser and Peter Moore, the latter of whom also designed the iconic Air Jordan 1, the EQT line singlehandedly inspired a new generation of runners. Combining great materials with stylish aesthetics, the range was also famous for its unforgettable advertising campaigns.
Working across four signature silhouettes such as the CSG Equipment 91, the Equipment Prototype, the Equipment Race Walk, and the Running Support 93, adidas have teamed up with a plethora of big industry names, including but not limited to atmos, Footpatrol, Hanon, Livestock, and Solebox. Each shoe is infused with their very own theme and choice of materials, making every pair as unique as the next.
Set to launch within the coming months, the adidas EQT 30th Anniversary Collection will probably take us towards the end of the year and onto 2022. Let us know which collaboration you're feeling the most, and in related news, the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Superstar "Black" is finally getting a global release!
