It's been thirty years since adidas debuted its iconic Torsion technology, and to celebrate this massive milestone, the Three Stripes has unveiled the all-new Torsion X. A concoction of '80s and '90s sneaker design, it's a mish mash of various different styles from different eras, and here's everything that you need to know!
Featuring a predominantly black colour scheme with pops of 'Hi-Res Yellow', 'Shock Pink', and 'Active Blue' scattered throughout, the upper of the Torsion X is crafted from a textile and mesh construction, with the addition of smooth suede ovals that bear a striking resemblance to the Yeezy 500.
Across the lacing system, Ozweego inspired transparent piping makes its presence known, running across the heel to form a pull tab. Down below, you'll find a clean white Boost midsole, and this is heavily contrasted by different colours including 'Easy Mint' and 'Scarlet'. To round it all off, retro branding hits the tongue, finalising the classic-meets-contemporary aesthetic.
Sure to be one of the most popular sneakers of 2019, the adidas Torsion X is set to launch on September 14th. Let us know if you'll be adding these to your personal collection, and make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for the hottest news in the world of sneakers!
