adidas Ozweego

First releasing as a lightweight running shoe in '96, it boasted adiPRENE technology that offered all-day comfort. Rounded off with mesh overlays and 3-Stripe branding on the side-wall, it's clear to see why this sneaker was so revered. Throughout the late '90s, adidas rolled out various new models of the Ozweego. The Ozweego 2 hit shelves in '97, followed by the Ozweego 3 in '98, and finally the Ozweego 4 in '99.

Fast-forward to 2013, 15 years after its original release, Raf Simons took the silhouette and made it his own. Giving it his traditional premium spin with a chunky midsole full of cushioning, a support tube at the forefoot and premium materials, this shoe soon became a staple of the high-fashion scene and arguable kickstarted the chunk trainer trend. To this day the Ozweego is a cult classic and it's futuristic design earned it a place in our sneaker rotation.
