Founded in 1994, Shinsuke Takizawa was involved in motorcycles and the surrounding counter culture when he started the brand in Harajuku, Tokyo. The concept of “basic clothing created by digesting unique interpretations of elements from motorcycles, military, outdoor, trade, etc. and also suggesting this lifestyle”. This is how NEIGHBORHOOD was founded.
Often focusing on blacked out sneakers, this collaboration has bought us brand new takes on many iconic silhouettes such as the Superstar, NMD, Kamanda and Stan Smith.
