Step your kick game up to Olympic levels with the adidas Micropacer!
The adidas Micropacer was a shoe designed to coincide with the Olympics in 1984. Due to its leather construction and chunky design however this became more of a lifestyle trainer than a running shoe. Despite its mixed reception however, this shoe has remained an icon of the running industry for one specific reason.
The adidas Micropacer was the first running shoe to come with an integrated pedometre to track your running. This was the original fitness tracker! Celebrating it's 30th anniversary the Micropacer saw a re-release in it's original colourway in the form of the adidas Originals Micropacer OG, complete with pedometre and all!
