adidas Ozweego Sizing: How Do They Fit?

The German giant's iconic adidas Ozweego model has been around longer than most sneakerheads think. It joined the Three Stripes family back in 1996 as a pair of lightweight running shoes that featured the sportswear giant's renowned adiPRENE cushioning technology. Not long after that, it started to receive modern tweaks and updates, resulting in a silhouette housing a futuristic-inspired layout with top-of-the-line materials. There are now countless colourways available on the market, but before you think of stepping your feet in these, you need to know how they fit.

The Ozweegos tend to run a little small. If you’re between sizes I’d say you should go half a size up. I’m usually a size UK7 but decided to go for a UK7.5 as they were more comfortable across the width of my foot.

They’re definitely a super comfy shoe. The Ozweego has an EVA midsole which means it's reliable when it comes to comfort and cushioning. I wore these on an all-day walk and definitely did not regret my decision!

The Ozweego is such a great shoe is because it fits into several styles. I’ll wear them in a very relaxed outfit, usually a hoodie and a pair of cargo trousers.

I clean my Ozweegos with the Jason Markk Shoe Cleaner. I brush off any dried dirt, remove the laces and soak them, and then use a soft-bristle brush to clean the upper of the shoe to make sure I don’t damage any of the premium materials.

I’m a big fan of the adidas Ozweego "Bliss". It's a clean, neutral colourway that goes well with pretty much everything. In this colourway, you can see why the Ozweego’s are often compared to the Yeezy 500.

They kinda fit like a glove. This is why I recommend going 0.5 up from your normal size to allow some breathing space.

They're soft and lightweight. For anyone who has never owned a pair, the impression the shoe gives is not what you think, I can tell you from my own experience that they are an extremely comfortable sneaker!

Since the sneaker is borderline chunky, I tend to wear them with a more relaxed fit and usually would go with neutral tone colour garments, like the ones from the Pharrell Williams x adidas Basics Apparel Collection.

I use an old toothbrush to remove any small rocks and removable dirt from the soles. For the uppers, I use a mixture of water and stain removal solution and finally coat them with water repellant spray before I go out to reduce the chances of them being extremely dirty.

My favourite colourway would have to be the adidas x Raf Simons Ozweego "Bunny". This colourway is both striking and refined, making them so easy to pair with outfits!

Any pair of adidas shoes that have adiPRENE cushioning is comfortable. But since these come with support tubes around the side, they're definitely on a different scale of comfort.

They certainly have the "ugly dad sneaker" vibe but that's what makes me love them even more as it gives me that challenge to try to make them look good. I wear mind with wide cargo trousers, and I've had a few people come up to me on the streets asking me what shoes they are and where they can get them from.

I clean mine with a sponge dipped into warm soapy water that's mixed in with some stain removal solution. I used a brush once and it damaged the suede so bad that I cried.

I just have the adidas Ozweego "Cargo" colourway. It has this dark green olive hue making them easy to style with any of my vintage-influenced outfits.

Generally speaking, the adidas Ozweego fits half size small. Towards the toebox, you'll find that the shape is slightly narrow and because it has a snug feel throughout, your feet needs some breathing space so go a half size up from your normal size.
