adidas' Latest Gazelle Bolds Are Giving Gucci Vibes

adidas’ terrace classics have taken the sneaker scene by storm this year, with Sambas and Gazelles truly leading the pack. With both styles getting designer reworks last year, it's no surprise that they’ve seen a huge increase in popularity, but the 3-Stripes has taken things a step further with the addition of these two Gazelle Bold colourways.

While the Gucci x adidas Gazelle Mesa Platforms may still have added a few extra inches over the usual Gazelle Bold, there’s no denying that both of these colourways are inspired by the duo’s collaborative efforts. The first pair, in “Bold Green / Lucid Pink,” sees a bright green suede drench the upper, while crisp white lands on the Stripes and tongue and a pop of pink adorns the heel tabs. This comes layered with a triple-stacked white sole unit, stamped with adidas Originals branding at the heel.

Boasting a more subtle take on the sneaker, the second pair goes for a more ‘quiet luxury’ vibe in a subdued “Cream / Green”. Opting this time for a layered gum sole, the colourway also arrives with suede uppers, although this time a tonal, hairier suede makes up the overlays. From here, green stripes add a complementary touch, and gold foil branding rounds off the pair perfectly.
