With the Women's World Cup firmly in the rearview mirror, adidas and famed fashion designer Stella McCartney are keen to continue their support for the women's game. Linking up with Arsenal Women, the duo has produced a unique rendition of the team's away kit this season, set to embody what it truly means to be a female athlete.
Designed to support the team both on and off the pitch, this limited edition capsule flaunts structured silhouettes, each arriving with nothing short of an eye-catching finish. Consisting of a jersey, shorts, full zip jacket, track-style pants, and an oversized tee, this collaboration is ideal for both athlete and supporter alike.
Naturally, the star of the show is the away jersey. While it does echo similarities to the polarising men's away addition, this Stella McCartney-designed addition looks to embrace a more visually pleasing aesthetic. Shades of Halo Pink and "Pastel Glow Blue" work in unison atop a geometric print, delivering a show-stopping finish.
Speaking on the collection, McCartney notes, "I love that the away jersey taps into the exciting intersection of fashion and football through its elevated geometric print and captivating hues – with technical performance materials at the core. It’s important that both players and fans alike can playfully express themselves as they move on and off the pitch, and we hope this bold, new collection can play a part in that."
The away kit will be debuted on the pitch on 6th October when Arsenal play Manchester United in the WSL, but it is currently available to purchase on adidas' website. In other fashion news, the viral Stüssy 8-Ball fleece will not be restocking this winter .
