Aimé Leon Dore Hints at the Return of Its New Balance 550 Collab

Been after a pair of Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550s? We’ve got good news for you. Having revived the retro 550 silhouette under the watchful eye of Teddy Santis back in 2020, the streetwear brand has taken to Instagram to reveal that the latest in the lineup of collaborative pairs will be dropping soon. While no release date has been announced yet, here's everything we know so far.

While a few colourful options have surfaced over the past couple of months, the brand's latest posts hinted that the upcoming pairs would drop in more neutral colourways, with the colour palette depicting creams, whites and greys. From the photos, there looks to be two construction options - with one pair arriving with a predominantly leather upper, and the other looking to come crafted from a soft suede. Continuing on the minimalist theme, the branding hits remain subtle, with ALD branding limited to the tongue tab and footbed.

The pairs are set to form part of ALD’s FW22 line-up, and the Instagram post tells users to subscribe to ALD's newsletter for further details regarding the release.
