Did you think the sneaker world was over animal print? Well it certainly isn't just yet! With recent and upcoming releases such as the Nike Air Max 97 Safari Animals Pack and the Fila Disruptor II Leopard White, Nike is adding a new player to the equation.
The release of the Nike Air Max 1 Premium Leopard puts a trendy spin on one of our fave silhouettes and we can't wait to get our hands on a pair. Coming in an official Desert Ore/Orange Peel/Black/Wheat colourway, the silhouette cleverly mixes textures and materials to give us a to-die-for shoe.
The Nike Swoosh looks to be made from textured pony hair, with the bulk of the layered upper made from a smooth beige leather, while the leopard spots covering the base of the sidewall and collar are another textured fabric.
Up top, the black laces give a stark contrast to the mainly neutral colour palette. Black also features inside the lining of the shoe, which can be seen just about peeping through the collar, to match the black rubber outsole.
Hits of bright orange can be seen in the top eyelets, as well as the Nike Air on the tongue label and embroidered onto the heel counter. The AM-1's iconic white midsole lies underfoot, showcasing the visible Air Cushioning unit which gives ultimate comfort with every step.
Rumoured for release on the 9th February, keep it locked to The Sole Supplier for info on where you can hunt down a pair of these fierce sneakers for yourself.
