Nike's Air Max 1 is an established classic and although it has been treated to numerous customisations over the years with various patterns and colourways, its fundamental structure has rarely been touched.
However, the brand's most recent release has opened up the possibilities of switching up integral elements by adding a double-layered effect to the sneaker's mudguard.
Providing a vibrant hit of colour combined with a subtle update, this silhouette arrives in three styles: Red/White, Grey/Blue, and Tan/Pink.
Each pair features a minimal leather upper, while the mudguard steals the spotlight in loud hues underneath.
A thin underlying layer is visible just above the panel in a contrasting shade, adding an extra dimension to the design.
Completing the look is Nike's cushioned midsole, which appears in traditional form in white, fitted with a visible Air unit.
The eye-catching trio is set to arrive at Nike soon, so be sure to stay tuned for more updates.
